Daily Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi/Mombasa → Tsavo East National Park
Early morning departure through the Nairobi–Mombasa highway. Entry into Tsavo East marks the beginning of game viewing almost immediately, as wildlife roams freely near the park gate.
Afternoon game drive focuses on:
- Red elephants dusting themselves in iron-rich soil
- Lions, giraffes, zebras, buffalo
- Galana River and open savannah landscapes
Overnight in a lodge or tented camp inside or near Tsavo East.
Day 2: Full Day Tsavo East Exploration
A full day dedicated to wildlife viewing in Tsavo East.
Key attractions:
- Lugard Falls (rocky rapids on Galana River)
- Yatta Plateau (world’s longest lava flow)
